Profile of Nader Agroindustrial Co. |

|
35 years ago, Nader Rose Water Co. started its
activity by producing rose water and herbal extracts in a facility
of 400 sq.m built area and one distillation system. The company
designed the first rose water and herbal extract pasteurization
system and for the first time in Iran, produced and supplied herbal
extracts and rose water hygienically. Later, in 1986, the company
established the first quality control laboratory in this industry
and employed food specialists and microbiologists for controlling
the company’s products. |

Gradually, with a rise in the company’s
activities, the machinery and equipment of the company became more
complete, and in 1996, for the first time in Iran, the company was
awarded two licences for using the Iranian Standard Emblem for its
normal and highly-concentrated rose waters. The distillated water of
the company, too, was recognized as a product meeting the
requirements of the national standard of Iran.
In order to expand the facilities and benefit
from further potentials, Nader Agroindustrial Co. was established in
1992 with the goal of producing rose water, herbal extracts, various
kinds of Syrups, jams, essential oils and natural drinks, and began
to take necessary measures for founding a big manufacturing complex
to start its production activity in several phases. In the
beginning, the complex was put into operation on a 8000 sq.m area
site in Tous Industrial Estate of Mashhad in 1977 with rose water
and herbal extract production lines. In 1999, the R&D department of
the company started working in order to conduct research, upgrade
the production technology, and develop new products. Every year, the
department launches and implements a number of research and applied
projects. |
In 2001, licenses were obtained for
production of various syrups using natural extracts. At present, the
company produces six different herbal syrups with rose water,
Egyptian willow, sour orange flower, mint, strawberry, and oxymel.
In 2002, the company equipped its factory with a complete line for
squeezing juice from lemon and processing the product with a
capacity of 5 tons per hour. The line has been put into operation
and now Nader natural lemon juice is supplied in various packages
and is among the most popular products of the company enjoying an
increasing demand from consumers’ side. Production of by-products
such as essential oils and pectin from lemon rind, and also
production of lemon concentrate are among the projects of the R&D
department. Thus, we can commission new lines and by improving the
productivity and reducing the imports volume, and make a
contribution, though small, towards the economic development of our
country.
Simultaneous with commissioning its lemon juice production line, the
company started erection of a cold store with a capacity of 300
metric tons for storage of the lemon juice produced by the company.
The cold store was put into operation in 2002, and since then has
helped the company much in preserving the quality of its produced
lemon juice.
Since the date of establishment of the organization, while putting
emphasis on a production meeting the requirement of national
standards and safeguarding the prestige of domestic production of
the country, the management has maintained their belief in the
importance of the quality, and has tried to improve customer
satisfaction. To further this end, since 2000 the management has
implemented and maintained a system based on ISO 9001 as an
effective means for attaining total quality management and customer
satisfaction.

As the company deems it a duty to
protect the community’s health and to spread the culture of making
proper use of medicinal herbs, it launched research on production of
various noncarbonated traditional drinks of plant origin. Thanks to
the unremitting endeavors of the experts in R&D department as well
as considerable investments on research, in 2006 the company managed
to fix the formulation of eight different natural drinks of plant
origin, and obtained the necessary health authorization for
producing them. At present we are completing the final stage of
conducting market survey and customer satisfaction evaluation prior
to launching mass production and distribution of the mentioned
drinks.
