Objectives and
Policy:
- Conduct Research for developing new products
- Improve the quality of products
- Raise the output of the machinery and equipment of the production
line
- Reduce energy and water consumption, and optimize operation of the
machinery
- Conduct development and applied research for reducing the volume
of wasted material, processing wasted materials and byproducts, and
substituting materials
- Cooperate with other scientific and research instates as well as
universities for implementing joint projects.
- Active participation in specialized gatherings and seminars,
holding workshops, and paper and poster presentation |

Some of the
Projects Implemented:
- Raising the output of the Medicinal plants distillation and
extraction systems
- Formulation of various syrups using natural fragrant extracts of
plants
- Formulation of various ready-to-drink natural beverages using
natural flavorings of plant origin
- Cooperation with the Institute of Standard and Industrial Research
in implanting the project of preparing a standard for mixed extracts
which can be used easily.
- Conduct the initial investigations and research into the latest
packaging techniques, and changing the packaging of the products
- Improving the productivity of extracts production lines by
modifying the processing methods and energy consumption
- Identification, separation and omission of various spores
producing lees in distillated products.
- Investigation into the shelf life of distillated products in
glass, PET and PE containers, and fixing the shelf life of each
product. |

Projects in Hand:
- Formulation of various natural extracts and juices extracted
from plants of Khorassan region.
- Cooperation with the Institute of Standard and Industrial Research
of Iran in standardizing the amount of toxic alcohols in distillated
products
- Optimization of lemon juice production line for increasing the
line efficiency and improving the quality of lemon juice produced
- Processing the waste materials of lemon juice production line, and
extracting essential oils from the same.
- Purification and enrichment of the existing essential oils and
standardizing the process |
